Fans of Stone Barrington will continue to enjoy another installment in the series. The Barrington books can be read as stand alone's, but are in essence installments in one continuous narrative. Stuart Woods has said in interviews that he writes a chapter a day, taking about an hour to an hour and a half per chapter. That's probably true, but he could benefit from an editor and at least a little rewrite. Some obvious mistakes and continuity errors have started to creep into his books as he has gotten older and this latest installment is filled with more than usual. If his publishers are going to continue to ask for a premium fare for his content, they should make an effort to clean up the most glaring mistakes.

Wild Card by Stuart Wood was enjoyable, but the plot was just a little complicated and the characters did not seem as real as they usually do. Certainly not one of Wood's best efforts, and I have read and reread the whole Barrington series.

This one has all the characters we expect from a Stone Barrington novel with a collection of villains carried over from the last book. The story was ok, but not my favorite.

Stuart Woods never fails to entertain. That is why I must have his books as soon as they are published. I now have to wait til June for the next one.

Stuart woods delivers another superb Stone berrington mystery novel. He will keep you on the edge of your seats to the last page wherethe unexpected becomes the reality.

Very enjoyable read. Went too quick though. Looking forward to the next one.

I always look forward to my first notice that a new book is out and I can order it for my kindle. The sad part is that it is to soon over. Wild Card was a great read and wet my tastebuds for the next bpok.Thanks
